    As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Back Market, you will join the "Bureau of Technology" or BoT and play a key role in shaping the success of our transversal programs, driving significant impact on Back Market growth in all our key markets (EU, US, APAC).

    Your mission? Seamlessly drive the transformation in how consumers perceive refurbished technology.

    You will lead innovation and drive high-impact business and technical initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams from our Engineering, Product and Business departments. You will "make it happen" by managing high-impact projects across multiple tribes within BackMarket, from concept to delivery. You will align technical strategies with business objectives and collaborate on our roadmap, bootstrap new programs that will enhance our ability to reach our ambitious goals.

    Your primary focus will be on ensuring we deliver predictably and with urgency on our most game changing efforts. This means challenging the status quo, pushing for alternative solutions, managing risks and dependencies to deliver a high quality end user experience. You'll drive transformative changes in our technical stack to enhance Back Market's growth potential through value and performance.

    What you will do
    • You will develop and manage cross-functional technical programs, facilitating relationships across our Bureau of Technology, Product and Business departments
    • You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to define/refine our roadmap and execution strategy, built upon the shared goals you will have aligned upfront.
    • You will be the main point of contact for each Program under your scope, responsible for upholding consistent and transparent communication and ensuring clarity for all contributors.
    • You will drive internal process improvements across teams, remove blockers, and deliver on-time high-impact projects while fostering an iterative development approach
    • You will assess business impact, prioritize initiatives and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment through project planning and strong stakeholder management skills
    • You will optimize resources, scope, schedule and securing budget, provide escalation management, and balance business needs against technical constraints
    • You will develop robust engineering accountability measurements, maintaining high quality engineering work with clear KPIs
    • You will identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels as well as cross-teams dependencies to ensure successful on-time projects delivery
    • You will be a force multiplier, thought leader, and strategic partner to lead Back Market in its fight against New

    YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF:
    • You are perfectly fluent in english
    • You have a strong experience (5+ years) of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience
    • You have already led transversal initiatives across your organization from inception to delivery, involving the alignment of several cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • You have brilliant communication skills, your peers define you as a facilitator. Your interpersonal skills will be crucial for that role to build strong relationships with stakeholders and top management.
    • You excel in navigating ambiguity, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, paying meticulous attention to details, and leveraging data for well-informed decision-making
    • You have innate curiosity, sparking creativity and solving complex challenges.
    • You have experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership
    • You are organized, able to coordinate cross-functional delivery and managing multiple workstreams is your superpower.
    • You are analytical and have problem-solving experience with large-scale technical systems
    • You have experience influencing without direct authority at senior levels internal and external to the engineering organization
