    Position: Application Engineer (AE)/ Field Application Engineer (FAE)

    Competitive Summary:
    Currently seeking an experienced Application Engineer / Field Application Engineer to provide advanced technical support to valued customers and partners worldwide. My client is a cutting-edge technology company specializing in chip and antenna technology. The successful candidate will work to support mmWave RF design activities and SW driver integration. This role involves understanding, reviewing, and recommending improvements to existing customer designs, as well as managing customer/partner product customization requests. Responsibilities:
    - Providing design customization and advanced technical support for potential design-in opportunities and design wins.
    - Collaborating closely with existing FAE team to ensure a smooth front-line customer support experience.
    - Offering a second line of technical support to customers and partners through various channels, including phone, email, conference calls, and occasional face-to-face visits.
    - Handling customer support tasks, including test setups, drafting supporting documents (application notes, test reports), and writing Python scripts to facilitate customer test requirements.
    - Assisting Product Engineering and Quality teams with customer RMA and associated investigations.
    - Exercising excellent business judgment to determine additional support or escalate issues as required.
    - Working collaboratively in cross-functional situations with R&D, Sales, Product Management, FAE, Operations, and Marketing. Requirements:
    - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an emphasis in RF and 8+ years of relevant experience in design and/or test in the RF space.
    - Experience in RF and mmW active components, with the ability to quickly grasp technical aspects of similar products.
    - Familiarity with various mmWave bench test equipment (spectrum analyzer, AWG, oscilloscope, power meter, and DC measurement tools).
    - Embedded hardware/software experience, including real-time low-level programming (C), Python scripting, microcontrollers, peripherals, and standard interfaces (SPI, I2C).
    - Experience in a customer-facing role in a sales or support environment.
    - Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
    - Ability to travel to customer sites worldwide and resolve issues independently. Qualifications that will make you stand out:
    - Knowledge of mmWave measurements test methodologies.
    - System-level understanding of mmWave wireless links.
    - PCB design and rework experience is a plus.
    - Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
    - Ability to work strategically and tactically with fluidity, little direction, and ambiguity About the Company:
