- Supervisory responsibilities within their sub-team

- Good customer service skills – interacting with internal and external users is a core requirement including routine enquiries from members of the public, receiving and responding to incoming communication
- Experience of keeping and maintaining records (in accordance with local policy) to aid accurate reporting to a range of stakeholders (which may include families, children or young people).
- Experience of working with others to provide seamless shared support on behalf of an executive office.

Senior School Transport Officer
The post holder will assist in the operation of the Transport team to ensure the statutory and discretionary functions are carried out efficiently and effectively with the highest possible customer service standards. The service works with relevant internal and external stakeholders including parents, operators, schools, headteachers and other local authorities in order to ensure that school transport support is awarded fairly and correctly, in accordance with legislation and the RBWM Home to School Transport Policy.
