    Description

    RSR is a specialist in recruitment for public safety, housing, and enterprise security. We help employers in these sectors find the right talent to fill their roles. Our team at RSR Housing is currently looking for a Case Work Coordinator on behalf of a client in Weston-Super-Mare.

    The main goal of this position is to manage referrals, assess and support clients to help them maintain accommodation and make positive life changes. As a part-time role (30 hours per week) with the possibility of extension, it offers a pay rate of £12.56 per hour.


    Main Responsibilities:
    • Work with clients to maintain high standards of health and safety in accommodation units and assist them in managing personal finances effectively.
    • Keep accurate records of client interactions and support reporting to partners and funders when needed.
    • Conduct needs and risk assessments for clients to develop tailored support plans that address individual needs and reduce re-offending.
    • Ensure new clients understand their rights, responsibilities, and housing benefit claims.
    • Provide clients with a person-centered service that adopts a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.

    Key Requirements:
    • Possession of a full driving license and access to a car.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, and basic spreadsheets.
    • Understanding of the causes of offending, homelessness, and social exclusion.
    • Ability to conduct Needs Assessment and Planning for individuals with complex social needs.
    • Previous experience working with homeless or socially excluded populations.
    • Teamwork experience in social or health care settings.
    • Experience in dealing with complex needs and challenging behavior.
    Role requires a DBS check at the relevant level.
