    Description

    Are you a legal professional with a passion for commercial law and contract management? We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Commercial Contracting counsel on a 6 months FTC . In this role, you'll be responsible for drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts, including service agreements, marketing agreements, and e-commerce agreements. You'll also play a key role in enhancing and implementing contract templates and legal processes to improve efficiency.

    The role:

    • Drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts, encompassing service agreements, marketing agreements, e-commerce agreements, and more.
    • Enhancing, implementing, and deploying contract templates and legal processes to streamline operations.
    • Collaborating with and managing external legal counsel when necessary for specialised matters.
    • Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing our repository of commercial contracts, contract management systems, and workflows.
    • Reporting to and providing support to the General Counsel on a range of legal and procedural tasks.

    The candidate

    • 4-6 years of relevant multi-disciplinary experience, ideally acquired as a lawyer either in a law firm or in-house.
    • Previous in-house experience within an international context, particularly in the luxury fashion industry, is highly advantageous.
    • Profound knowledge of commercial contracting principles and practices.
    • Experience working with a library of commercial contracts and contract management tools.
    • A pragmatic approach to legal issues with a keen business acumen, enabling you to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work autonomously, make prompt decisions, and adapt swiftly to evolving circumstances.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Fluency in English (essential)
    • Proficiency in Dutch and/or French (desirable).
