    Description

    Goodman Masson is thrilled to collaborate with a mid-sized housing association in their quest for a Financial Reporting Manager.

    Role Overview:

    • Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Executive Management Team and the Board, with detailed analysis of budget and forecast variances
    • Create an executive summary containing financial KPIs and highlights
    • Oversee the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts and engage with external auditors
    • Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns and external benchmarking data
    • Work closely with the Financial Services Manager on finance system development, focusing on management accounts reporting, forecasting, and purchase ordering systems
    • Offer proactive finance business partnering services to operational teams, providing assistance, training, and regular communication with budget holders
    • Participate in developing performance policies and procedures to maintain high standards of customer care in financial services
    • Supervise Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Business Partner to ensure the delivery of a professional, customer-centric service
    • Handle any additional duties as requested by the management team

    This position offers a salary of approximately £67,000 per year, with a significant remote work option - based in Aylesbury.

    Requirements for Success:

    • A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or relevant experience
    • Experience in Team Management
    • Desirable background in Housing sector
