    Work with the Marketing Director in developing department strategies by providing context for current strategies and input on future initiatives as well as by leading on identified projects (listed below or to follow).

    Manage junior staff and ensure work across list responsibilities and that of the team are appropriately delegated and priorities are clear, activities are effective, and schedules are met.

    Oversee select special projects.
    Marketing
    Contribute innovative marketing ideas and effective publicity campaigns for key titles.
    Manage title specific social media marketing plans for key titles.
    Develop and execute conference planning.
    Develop and execute promotions including catalogs, social media, enewsletters.

    Monitor top institutions in key subject areas (MA) focused on developing relationships with academics and instructors and understanding trends (especially changes) in the teaching and research at these institutions.

    Develop relationships with academics, librarians and other influencers to promote brand awareness and develop knowledge of the market.
    Work closely with Sales and Marketing teammates on cross-subject promotions and backlist campaigns.
    A knowledge of global academic books marketing and the publishing sector would be an advantage.
    Experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
    Strong relationship-building and team-working skills.
