    Description

    Bridging Finance Underwriter

    £35-40k + Bonuses

    Location: Altrincham, Manchester


    Key Responsibilities:

    Review and analyze loan applications, assessing borrower creditworthiness, property value, and risk factors

    Conduct comprehensive due diligence on loan transactions, including property appraisals and legal documentation

    Determine loan terms, including loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment schedules, based on risk assessment and company guidelines

    Collaborate with sales and operations teams to expedite loan approvals and closings

    Communicate effectively with borrowers, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve issues

    Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to bridging finance

    Requirements:

    Previous experience in underwriting role, preferably in the bridging finance or mortgage industry

    Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards for lending products

    Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment techniques
