    One-Year Internal Audit Industrial Placement

    IG Group is in search of a dynamic undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Join us for an 11-month fully paid industrial placement and get a firsthand look at the inner workings of our FTSE 250 Internal Audit department.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Collaborating with our Internal Audit team consisting of 15 professionals across the UK, Poland, and South Africa
    • Conducting audits of key business areas, identifying gaps, and addressing issues
    • Customizing your role based on your skills and interests, whether in IT audits, financial compliance, or operational assessments

    This role presents a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in assessing and auditing the risk and control environment critical for our business success, including:

    • Participating in stakeholder meetings
    • Documenting business processes
    • Evaluating risks and control tests
    • Enhancing data analytics skills and exploring AI techniques

    Requirements for the Role:

    • Passion for financial services, with preference for familiarity with IG suite of products
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Quick learner with strong information processing abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

    Program Structure:

    • Duration: 11-month placement
    • Salary: Competitive pro-rata salary
    • Location: City of London
    • Work Model: Hybrid (3 office days per week)

    During your placement, you'll gain comprehensive insights into various business functions such as strategy, commercial development, operations, finance, as well as risk management and compliance.

    Upon joining, you'll receive guidance and mentorship from a dedicated line manager, access to training programs, and a diverse range of learning resources. You'll also connect with fellow graduates, expanding your professional network.

    Successful completion of the placement opens up opportunities to apply for our graduate program.
