We design intelligent motors, motor controllers, and generators that reduce energy consumption and improve system efficiency at a lower cost in multiple industries.

    The Role & Responsibilities for UAV Sales Application Engineer:

    1. Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team regarding UAV products, systems, and solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
    2. Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements, provide technical guidance, and offer customized solutions tailored to meet specific needs.
    3. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, capabilities, and benefits of UAV products. Address technical queries and concerns raised by potential customers during presentations.
    4. Solution Design: Work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and objectives. Utilize technical knowledge to design innovative UAV solutions that address customer needs and add value to their operations.
    5. Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and bids for UAV projects. Provide technical input and support to the sales team in creating comprehensive and compelling proposals that align with customer requirements.
    6. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and partners. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
    7. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal sales teams, channel partners, and customers to enhance their understanding of UAV technology, applications, and use cases.
    8. Post-Sales Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers post-sale, including installation guidance, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues. Ensure customer satisfaction and promote long-term relationships.
    9. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement, new feature development, and market expansion. Share insights with the product management and engineering teams.
    10. Collaboration: Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and product development, to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
    11. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, technical specifications, and project details. Generate reports and documentation as required for internal use and customer communication.
    12. Continuous Learning: Continuously update knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and self-study to stay abreast of advancements in UAV technology and sales strategies.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Educated to Engineering Degree level.
    • Ideally with a minimum of 8 years sales experience in UAV & Aerospace markets.
    • Experience of selling premium products in high quality, high reliability, and safety critical applications.
    • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • UAV industry and/or start up business experience an advantage.
