    We invest in Seed and Series A stage companies and are excited about the global potential of disruptive technology.

    By combining your exceptional insight, knowledge and experience of life sciences, particularly in healthcare/digital health/techbio, with your outstanding analytical and financial modelling skills, you will provide in depth technical evaluations and review the viability and potential of new business opportunities, helping make successful investment decisions as part of the Early Stage team.

    Alongside the Partner, you will also be exposed to and responsible for a large existing portfolio of healthcare investments, helping them to grow and achieve outstanding commercial and financial success.

    Your intellectual curiosity and research skills enable you to quickly grasp and understand new technology, new applications, and market developments, whilst your business acumen and financial understanding allow you to model impacts of financing rounds, produce capitalisation tables, exit waterfall charts and run quarterly fund models.

    Essential to your role will be helping to asses the scientific merit of deal-flow opportunities, assisting with due diligence, and supporting the Partners with a range of portfolio monitoring, investment and reporting activities.

    As you engage in meaningful and thought-provoking discussions with your team, academics and entrepreneurs you will continually deepen and build your knowledge on the future of healthtech health across the globe as you develop your career with Amadeus and progress in venture capital.

    Financial Modelling and Analysis

    Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess investment viability, returns, and potential risks.
    Proactively identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
    Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, analyzing financials, market trends, competitive landscapes, customer references and growth prospects.
    Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to facilitate the smooth execution of investment transactions.
    Market Research and Industry Analysis

    Attend networking and industry events to broaden contact base and knowledge insights
    Gain speaking slots to promote Company and own brand.
    Training and support to Analysts and Interns.

    Prior experience in venture capital/growth investing or an accelerator programme, demonstrating experience in analysis, deal flow and portfolio management.

    ~ Strong financial modelling skills and analytical skills, able to model and interpret data and provide future projections (integrated P&L/BS/CF).

    ~ Degree qualified in life sciences, ideally supported by a relevant second degree (PhD or similar).

    ~ A strong, broad understanding across the life science sector, specifically knowledgeable around healthcare/digital health/techbio so as to be able to understand, review and analyse start up business ideas.

    ~ A passion for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship and actively engaged in the VC/PE ecosystem and networking events.

    ~ Gravitas to hold their own with leading academics and key business leaders in the life science subject area.

    ~ Strong communication skills - excellent level of English language both verbal and written.

    ~ Highly competent with IT systems - MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and other graphical presentation tools.

    ~ Business experience gained in a healthcare or digital health firm, (large or small) in either a business/commercial or scientific role would also be highly valued.
