Job summary
The Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Integrated Care System (ICS) have four key purposes:
The Performance Manager is a key member of the Elective Care Team and will work with the Head of Elective Care to bring together system partners to drive improved performance and delivery of our system priorities. The Performance Manager will lead on designated workstreams and areas of work and is responsible to supporting and monitoring performance, improvement plans, reporting and contributing to the development of the annual Operational Plan. The Performance Manager and will work closely with various teams across the ICB and wider system, engaging with senior leadership, managerial and clinical colleagues and broader stakeholders.

Responsibility for ensuring the organisation has plans in place to meet national and local targets associated with Elective Care in their designated areas of responsibility. Monitoring plans and supporting the development of improvement plans / mitigating actions where required.
As senior work stream lead working internally and externally to support the mobilisation and delivery of transformation programmes, projects, initiatives and services to time and in a cost-effective way.

Communicate across the system and provide highly complex information, in depth analysis, interpretation and production of complex and multiple reports to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Staff management and development.
Work within the overall operational plan, devise, implement and monitor the plan regarding Elective Care in their designated areas of responsibility. and support the development of performance improvement plans and trajectories that embed best practice.
Support the development of a System Performance Improvement plan regarding Elective Care and determine the development of appropriate performance and governance to deliver this.
Support on the delivery of transformation programmes in their designated areas of responsibility associated with Elective Care from gateway 3.
