Description
Job Title: Registered Manager The Role There are three Registered Manager posts within the service, with the County split into three distinct areas for which Registered Managers take operational responsibility. Collectively, the Registered Managers work together to ensure that the service maintains quality and compliance with Care Quality Commission Regulations. One of our Registered Managers will be taking up a 2-year secondment in a different team, and so we are recruiting to back fill this post on a fixed term contract which will end on 31st March 2026. The staff group in this service is highly skilled and experienced. The team is made up of front-line staff, Team Supervisors, Service Assessors, Coordinators, Team Support Officers and Administrative staff. In addition, the service works in an integrated way with partners, and there are Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other clinical staff working in the service who are employed by other organisations. As Registered Manager you are expected to work in partnership with this group of staff. A requirement of this role is the ability to be able to become Registered Manager with CQC, therefore a thorough knowledge of CQC Regulations is essential. The service is in operation 24 hours a day (night services operate alone between 10pm and 7am) and is open every day of the year. As Registered Manager you will be part of a rota which ensures support is available at all times. Reablement is a fast-paced, busy service. The majority of activity in the service is supporting people to leave hospital and return home safely with care and support, with a view to helping people to regain, improve or maintain their independence. Other activity in the service relates to our Community Reablement offer, support provided to people in the two Prisons in the County and also provision of night services.
