    Description

    The Opportunity: A stand out opportunity not to be missed We are searching for a self-motivated and driven professional to join a company that holds a leading reputation within the industry. Working across the UK, you will welcome the challenges expected in a sales role and relish the opportunities of building relationships whilst providing ruminant nutrition advice. The Ruminant Sales Manager will capitalise on proven skills and work closely with the management team to drive business growth and exposure.

    The Company: A well established and highly professional animal feed business with an enviable reputation for producing a portfolio of quality feed products. Successful in the UK and international markets, it boasts a strong and extensive team fully committed to the brand and ethos of the business.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • To cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and clients
    • To provide nutritional advice and product support to meet customer needs
    • Actively identify and develop new leads, consistently growing and developing the business
    • Promote the company's full portfolio of products
    • Participate in wider business requirements; attending shows and events to increase brand awareness

    Skills you will need:
    Essential:

    • Proven sales experience in ruminant nutrition
    • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
    • The ability to forge and develop relationships easily and confidently
    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • The ability to work independently and collectively as a team when required
    • Self-motivated and able to organise own workload
    • The ability to work collaboratively across the team
    • The willingness and desire to travel
    • UK driving licence

    Desirable:

    • A qualification in animal nutrition or related subject

    Remuneration:An excellent salary, bonus and benefits package (including company car or allowance) commensurate with candidate's experience.
