- Contribute to business development activities, driving growth and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Participate in internal projects and initiatives to improve processes and services.
- Preparation, review and /submission of complex management accounts and VAT returns/MTD declarations.
- Manage a varied client base, ensuring deadlines are met and relationships are managed and developed, ensuring each client receives a bespoke service, and procedures are reviewed on a regular basis.
- Ensure trainees are supported and there is a continuous development plan and regular feedback in place.
- Assist juniors in managing workflow and organisation of duties and tasks.
- A successful Manager in the Business Services Team should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Excellent client relationship and management skills.
- Business development and commercial acumen.
- A competitive salary in the range of £65000+ per annum.
