    We are expanding the skill mix andexpertise of the RPS Education and Professional Development teamand are seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Designer todevelop high quality educational content to enhance learningoutcomes for pharmacy professionals.

    You willcollaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to createand construct a diverse range of instructional materials includingeLearning modules training and development programs webinars eventsand assessments. Your innovative approach and specialist knowledgewill ensure that our educational content meets the diverse andevolving needs of learners and aligns with industrystandards.

    Requirements:

    • Experienceof instructional design and eLearningdevelopment.
    • Demonstrable experience ofimplementing and curating educational content within learningmanagement systems and assessment platforms such as BrightspaceMoodle TestReach or similartechnologies.
    • Proficiencywith instructional design tools and software such as ArticulateStoryline Adobe Captivate Camtasia or similarprograms.
    • Strongunderstanding of instructional design principles adult learningtheory and learning assessmentmethods.
    • Knowledge ofaccessibility standards and guidelines for digital learningmaterials.
    • Demonstrableexperience of evaluating educational resources programmes and/orservices.
    • Experience ofworking with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders tounderstand plan and define requirements for learningjourneys.

    TheDirectorate

    The RPS ProfessionalMembership & Education (PMED) directorate is responsiblefor:

    • Leading and supporting membersand the profession to deliver and continually improve highqualitypatient care.
    • Defining and assuringpostregistration standards of pharmacy practice through curriculaassessments and credentialing.
    • Supportingmembers and the profession to deliver and promote the higheststandards of pharmacy practice and professionalism.
    • Advancing pharmacy practice and science by educating theprofession to deliver highquality evidencebased care to meetchanging patientneeds.

    TheTeam

    Thisrole sits in the Education and Professional Development team withinthe PMED directorate. The teams main purpose is to advance practicethrough education learning and professional development.

    We are a small but dynamic team of pharmacistswho are passionate about improving care through education andprofessional development. We are looking forward to welcoming aninstructional designer to support us with our ambition to advancethe pharmacistprofession.

    Howwe are currentlyworking

    RPSsupports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able towork from home however there will be an expectation forcollaborative facetoface working on average and typically this maybe something between 48 working days per month at our LondonOffice.
