SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER BRISTOL

We are seeking an ambitious, idea-driven Senior Product Designer to join our Product and Design Team.

SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER ROLE

As a Senior Product Designer, you will work with clients to help them shape their product offerings and deliver on meaningful objectives. You will act as their lead designer – taking ownership of all the activities that entails, throughout the full product lifecycle. This might also include working with our sales teams to establish new relationships and shape incoming work.

As a Product Design team, we look for people with an appetite across UX and UI, but we do expect most people to be stronger in some areas than others. Although we have a mix of projects – including conceptual and discovery, a lot of our work tends to involve longer term agile engagements – so we're particularly keen to hear from people who resonate with agile approaches.

As a senior member of the design team, we'll also be looking for you to take on line management of 2 or 3 of our Product Designers. Our ideal candidates are motivated by helping people to flourish in their careers and have done this before either as a line manager or an informal mentor.

YOUR PROFILE

Strong background in leading design work on projects

Experience in strategically shaping new initiatives in collaboration with senior stakeholders, potentially as part of a sales process

Motivated by helping other designers flourish in their careers

Good understanding of agile methodologies with experience working in an agile team

Comfortable in helping solve tricky client relationship issues
