    Full time, permanent

    The role holder is a member of the Onshore Energy Team within the Natural Resources Department and is accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of the vision and the strategy for Onshore Energy.

    The role holder will be responsible for underwriting Downstream and Midstream risks in accordance with the Onshore Energy business plan.

    Undertake analysis of the location / market to help identify new business opportunities, products and clients, ensuring a robust business case.

    Ensure risks are written within the agreed parameters – making sound long term decisions on risks that are written, with a focus on smart rationale underwriting.

    Proactively participate in product forum meetings, as appropriate – challenging and responding to challenges regarding the Product performance.
    Compliance and Risk Management
    Conduct role in accordance with the Company's Business Ethics policy and all regulated entities as appropriate.

    Manage the location/market so that is complies with relevant risk, regulatory and legal requirements and so that it complies with Group policies.

    Have good business and commercial market awareness, specifically of energy related business
    Strong networking & managing both new and existing client relationships
    Enjoy the challenge of shaping a balanced onshore energy portfolio for MS Amlin
    In depth knowledge, expertise and strong experience of the downstream and midstream energy markets
    Good understanding of relevant risk, regulatory and legal requirements
