Cloud Technician Warrington
£35,000 - £45,000

Join this team as a Cloud Technician and take on the critical task of managing and maintaining an expansive cloud systems, utilizing leading technologies such as Azure and VMWare.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of documentation, administration, and system management for a dynamic suite of services, ensuring optimal performance and security across their network.

Cloud Technician Ideal Profile:
Degree in IT or equivalent experience with a broad range of technical skills
Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially Azure, and familiarity with AWS
Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office ecosystem and its components
Strong capabilities in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, and PowerShell scripting
Experience with Windows Server, including Hyper-V, and deep O365 skills
Understanding of ITIL frameworks, including change, problem, and incident management

Cloud Technician Responsibilities:
Administer and manage the Microsoft Cloud Environment, including documentation and continuous improvement
Oversee Hybrid AD, both on-premise and Azure AD estates, including tenant to tenant migrations using third-party tools
Automate tasks using PowerShell to enhance reporting, fault finding, and provide updates
Monitor cloud infrastructure proactively to ensure performance, availability, integrity, and resilience
Lead disaster recovery efforts and contribute to security policy enforcement and reviews
Provide training to Service Desk and Infrastructure teams and handle multiple projects, including direct service desk support as needed
