    Description

    Looking for a Document Controller position offering longevity and job security? James Lewis are currently assisting a key client, who are a multi-dimensional Principal Contractor, in their search for at least two Document Controllers to join the team.


    Our client works across a range of project sectors which include data centres, education, commercial, healthcare and science & technology in and around London and the SE.

    They provide services from design, through construction and fit out to the maintenance of the projects, effectively offering an end-to-end solution.


    Due to a combination of both existing projects and a strong pipeline for 2024 and into 2025, they are looking to add to a few of their project teams, ideally with candidates who have previous experience on M&E projects.


    During your probation you will be mostly site/project based, however the bulk of their positions are hybrid with a combination of home, office and site.

    Sites are in and around London, with projects in Oxford St, Canary Wharf, Essex, Slough and Chertsey to name a few.

    Managing and updating project doc control procedures


    • Reviewing all Documents for Quality prior to issue
    • Diary management/meeting coordination
    • Document control using Sharepoint
    • Meeting with project teams to get project updates
    • Working closely with site-based teams to manage various elements of administration


    The company are in a position of strength with the benefit of having grown consistently in recent years, even managing to increase project turnover during Covid.
