    Personal Development Coordinator

    Location – Rotherham

    Salary - £24,249 FTE (Pro-rata £21, Per Annum + benefits

    Hours - 37 hrs per week, working during term time 40 weeks per year)

    Do you have experience working within an educational environment?

    Can you demonstrate excellent customer service, coordinating, and organisational skills?

    Do you have a Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar?

    As the Personal Development Coordinator, you will...


    • Be responsible for the creation and delivery of an exciting programme of personal development activities and events to enhance student experience, as well as develop their essential life and personal skills, including health, wellbeing and learning opportunities.
    • Ensure personal development activities are available to all learners and work with learners to understand key topics and themes.
    • Build effective partnerships with external organisations, that will provide guest speaker delivery.
    • Liaise with curriculum managers and tutors to ensure learners access appropriate personal development opportunities for their individual learner journey.
    Skills and experience for the role of Personal Development Coordinator:


    • You will have experience working within an educational environment and/or with young people, ideally within a Further Education/Post 16 environment
    • You will have qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent
    • You will have a Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar
    • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work with respect and confidentiality
    • Good organisational skills are required for this role
