    Procurement Manager| Leading UK logistics firm | 2 x per week in office | Buckinghamshire
    £45,000 - £60,000 + £6k Car allowance + 10% bonus + Healthcare + Additional benefits


    Overview:

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading logistics specialist in the UK, offering top-tier services in business mail, parcels, e-fulfilment, contact centres, and media distribution.

    The company seeks an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to drive procurement strategies and support ambitious growth plans.

    This role involves engaging with key stakeholders, managing a substantial annual spend, and contributing to the goal of becoming a best-in-class procurement team.


    What the role involves:
    Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies.
    Identify long-term savings and create compelling business cases.
    Engage and influence stakeholders, manage supply risks, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    Build and manage strategic supplier relationships.
    Deliver financial and strategic benefits through effective supplier management.
    Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
    Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
    Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms and conditions.
    Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business goals.
    Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimise procurement processes.
    Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
    Provide procurement expertise and guidance to internal teams.
    Manage supplier performance through a robust performance management process.
    Develop and maintain a strategic approach to sourcing and procurement activities.

    The person we hope to find:
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    Strong analytical abilities and commercial acumen.
    Proven experience in a fast-paced, best-practice environment.
    Degree or equivalent experience, CIPS qualification preferred.
    Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
