    Community Mental Health Nurse MH&WT Central

    This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mental health nurse or practitioner to join the Havering Central Mental health and wellness team.

    We are an MDT who work collaboratively with other services both within and outside of NELFT.

    Since commencing transformation within havering mental health services, the central MH& WT now offers initial assessments, short and long term interventions as well as medical reviews and clinics to clients within one team.

    We support clients with a wide range of mental health difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, Bipolar and Schizophrenia.
    You will have the opportunity for further professional development, training opportunities.

    If you are an overseas qualified nurse and wanting to start your journey to becoming a UK based registered nurse with the NMC, you can check whether you are eligible to be supported through our Capital Nurse consortium.

    Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

    All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

    As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.
