Overview
As an Internal Sales Trainee you will be supporting a market leader in there industry supplying customers across the UK and Northern Ireland. The business is growing due to continued success and now has an opportunity for an individual who would like to join their team. Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by your line manager as you learn the portfolio of products and begin your successful sales career.
Working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday- Friday
The Main Tasks of the Role
• Processing orders onto the system.
• Supporting the sales team with administration.
• Account management, understanding customer requirements and providing quotes efficiently and effectively.
• Business development, calling new, lapsed and existing clients.
• Upselling and cross selling a wide range of products.
• Prospecting the local area and identifying target customers.
• Working with internal functions consisting of Warehouse and admin team.
• Achieving targets in a competitive environment.
Required Skills & Experience
• Excellent Telephone Manner
• IT Literate
• Extremely Driven and ambitious
• Ability to proactively work alone
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ideally someone who has come from a sales or customer service background although not essential as full training will be provided.
