    Description
    Project Engineer (Screw Pumps)
    Water Industry, Mechanical and Civils
    Midlands (With travel)


    Job Type:
    Permanent

    As Project Engineer, you will lead the management and maintenacne of Screw Pumps on Water projects, including mechanical and electrical schemes and maintenance activities to ensure high-quality, efficient work with minimal waste, and a safe working environment for all colleagues.

    Manage mechanical and electrical schemes and maintenance activities to ensure high-quality, efficient work with minimal waste and a safe working environment for all colleagues
    Liaise with the internal design department to ensure awareness of contract requirements
    Arrange and attend meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
    Create method statements, risk assessments, and other H&S documents for required tasks
    Approve subcontractors' method statements and risk assessments
    Handle daily on-site installation and commissioning and attend pre-contract meetings with Operations/Project Manager and subcontractors
    Manage sub-contracts and orders, attend progress meetings, and create a commissioning plan in collaboration with the Operations/Project Manager
    Manage commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation is in place for handover and sign-off
    Ensure all subcontractor and supplier information and drawings are properly included in manuals
    Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, comply with company health and safety policies, procedures, and codes of practise, and demonstrate and uphold company values
    Previous experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer
    NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or HNC/HND
    CSCS Card
