    Telecommunications Systems Engineer

    At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Telecommunications Systems Engineer at our site in Corsham.

    As a Telecommunications Systems Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

    This is an opportunity to be involved in the leading latest technologies, with worldwide travel to support customer and deliver the UK's satellite communications system.

    Managing the installation and configuration of new system elements
    Testing and commissioning of new equipment and services
    This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
    This role is full time, 37-hours per week and is based on site in Corsham.
    Essential experience of the Telecommunications Systems Engineer
    Experience in the design and delivery of IP communication networks, ideally with Cisco accreditation
    Knowledge of VoIP network architectures
    Worked at a telecoms or satellite communication company
    Qualifications for the Telecommunications Systems Engineer
    ~ Higher level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
