    Country Manager in the Global Wine Business - Nationwide

    If you're on the hunt for your next big challenge leading the UK operations for a major player in the drinks industry, look no further.

    We're thrilled to be collaborating with an established drinks company gearing up to establish its presence in the United Kingdom. This company offers a remarkable array of products and boasts a stellar track record of successful distribution.

    As the Country Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in spearheading the launch of this business in the UK. You'll need to champion excellence, drive performance, and leverage your network of connections across distributors, both on and off-trade. This is a golden opportunity for a seasoned leader with a strong network within the Drinks FMCG sector.

    Key Responsibilities as the Country Manager:

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership, onboard key distributors, and bring the company's vision to life in the UK.
    • Manage budgets, P&L, and product distribution growth.
    • Develop a route-to-market strategy covering pricing, client & consumer engagement, and investment approach.
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with importers and distributors.
    • Oversee the fiscal performance of the business, including budget management and forecasting.
    • Handle commercial contracts including annual volumes, AMP, pricing, and value chain.
    • Create a marketing plan for the retail business that aligns with the broader company objectives.

    The Ideal Candidate for Country Manager:

    • Extensive experience collaborating with drinks distributors and key stakeholders in large-scale Drinks enterprises.
    • Strong connections with Importers and Distributors, coupled with a deep understanding of the route-to-market business model.
    • A self-motivated individual with a drive for success, possessing solid commercial and financial acumen.
    • Past experience in establishing a business from the ground up. Broad connections would be advantageous for launching this venture.
    • Proven track record in leadership, team development, and business expansion.
    • A firm and assertive leadership style with strong self-management and motivational skills.
