    Exciting Responsibilities Awaiting You

    Here at Mainz, we not only manage our German platform but also the rapidly growing portals of various countries. We are seeking a Junior Country Manager (m/f) for our thriving NL and UK portals. As a Junior Country Manager for these sites, you will evaluate incoming text orders, assess author submissions, and assist customers and authors via email and phone from our Mainz office. The employment contract is initially set for 12 months.

    Your Role

    • Splitting work time equally between our NL and UK portals
    • Managing projects for Managed Client projects and coordinating international projects as needed
    • Creating and executing an editorial calendar for publications on the websites of both country portals as well as on external sites and social media. Additionally, conceptualizing and implementing various marketing initiatives (e.g., webinars) and attending events in the Netherlands / UK
    • Establishing, maintaining, and coordinating a freelancer network focusing on authors and editors for all operational processes (with clients as well as for internal projects) in the Netherlands and UK
    • Being the main contact for customer and author inquiries
    • Performing proofreading/editing tasks or translation work independently, if required

    Your Profile

    • Existing network and/or knowledge of our target market (SEO, media, and marketing agencies, e-commerce shop owners, webmaster communities, publishers, etc.)
    • Sales experience and affinity for sales activities
    • Demonstrable excellent language, grammar, and spelling skills in your native language (Dutch)
    • Outstanding English skills and sufficient knowledge of German
    • Strong social skills and teamwork for effective communication with customers and colleagues
    • High affinity for internet topics such as social media, e-commerce, new economy, etc.
    • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
