    Location United Kingdom Newcastle up Tyne Newcastle upon Tyne Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Grid Solutions Full / Part time Either Experience Level Not defined A Snapshot of your day As Project Manager you will lead the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for one of our key customers.

    You will work within one of the delivery teams and lead a project team while working alongside the Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement teams, Installation & Commissioning teams on all aspects of project delivery.

    Let's talk about you Your profile We are looking for someone who has Project Management/Contract Management experience gained within the Transmission & Distribution Industry. You will have a great understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards & technologies together with knowledge of Substation Primary & Secondary Systems. An excellent knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations as well as Risk Management processes.
    Contractual management knowledge and experience, especially NEC, is essential in the execution of this role.

    Of course, fantastic communication & interpersonal skills are required along with a strong work ethic, able to work of own initiative and ability to be proactive Your responsibilities Your Project Manager role will require you to lead the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for one of our key customers.

    You will work within one of the delivery teams and lead a project team while working alongside the Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement teams, Installation & Commissioning teams on all aspects of project delivery.

    You will be required to ensure delivery on all technical, procurement and quality information while maintaining exceptional Health and Safety Standards throughout the project delivery including adherence to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines ( Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).Commercially and technically, you are required to raise all potential risks, variations and opportunities within the business and have full responsibly and accountability for programme and costs on the project.

    You will be responsible for preparing Monthly Progress Reports for internal and external reporting, along with being customer facing on discussions, technical queries, issues, design risk management and project reporting.

    You may also be required to support the tendering department on future project opportunities with the "Capture Team" approach.
