General Practitioner Partner, Church View, Broadway, Somerset Job overviewChurch View Medical Centre is looking to appoint a forward-thinking and motivated GP partner or Salaried GP with view to partnership to join our high-earning, friendly, rural, dispensing practice with a 3000-list size and increasing.
Ideally, we are looking to offer six sessions per week, but this is flexible and we are open to discussion around this.
The successful candidate would manage and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
Church View is perfectly situated for those who are looking to work and/or live in a picturesque, rural village but also ideal for those who are looking for a balance between town and country life.
just half an hour's drive to the Dorset coast, a stone's throw away from the Blackdown Hills and only 20 minutes to the County Town, Taunton.
The post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations on behalf of the practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence.
You'll be working alongside our existing team comprising two GP Partners, Nurse practitioner, two practice nurses, two health care assistants, a pharmacist, dispensing team, primary care practitioners (Paramedics), MSK practitioners and an admin team.
In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
