    Join Our Team as a Garden Maintenance Operative!

    Our esteemed client, focused on Design, Construction, and Maintenance, is headquartered in SW London and is on the lookout for a new team member to take care of garden maintenance. As a Garden Maintenance Operative, you will work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader, ensuring that the designated gardens are in top-notch condition. Your responsibilities will include performing various garden tasks, maintaining equipment, and following instructions diligently.



    Key Responsibilities:


    • Ensure the gardens meet or exceed expectations, providing excellent client service at all times.
    • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Team Leader regarding daily operations.
    • Complete maintenance tasks efficiently and promptly.
    • Adhere to all company policies and health/safety procedures.
    • Maintain equipment and report any repair needs.
    • Foster positive relationships with employees, clients, and the public.
    • Keep accurate timesheets and report absences as necessary.
    • Perform any additional duties as assigned.


    Requirements:


    • Minimum of one year experience in residential garden maintenance or related field.
    • Basic knowledge of garden maintenance practices and equipment.
    • Basic first aid certification.
    • Ability to follow instructions effectively.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong teamwork and cooperation abilities.
    • High ethical standards and punctuality.
    • Capability to work independently.
    • Attention to detail and high-quality work standards.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    • Desirable: Horticultural qualifications.
    • Desirable: PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates.
    • Desirable: Driver's Licence.
    • Physical fitness for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
