    Job Description

    The story of Caravane first began in 1995 when a new concept of decoration was invented. As Véronique Piedeleu—who, together with her husband, Jack-Eric, has been at the helm of Caravane since 2011—recounts, 'Françoise Dorget created a strong style, one that continues to this day.

    Since then, the Caravane house has broadened its horizons even further. Each and every destination was discovered following a chance encounter or an intuitive hunch.

    This true family story has been made even stronger with the addition of Capucine Piedeleu, the daughter of Véronique and Jack-Eric, who adds freshness and vibrancy to the brand while ensuring it remains true to its roots.

    With each encounter, the team continues to grow, as it fosters the great talent and rare savoir-faire that guides every creation down to the very last detail—from conception to completion, from the lighting in our boutiques to the arrival of carefully selected pieces at your home.

    As Sales Consultant you will warmly welcome Caravane's customers offering them the assistance they need.

    Your daily tasks will include:

    1/ Welcoming clients in a shop/retail environment and helping them find their inspiration through style, design, storytelling.

    2/ Consulting about interior and furniture, advising customers by providing information on products. Helping customer make selections by building customer confidence ; offering suggestions and opinions

    3/ Documenting sales by creating or updating customer profile records

    4/ Receiving deliveries and ensuring recommended merchandising and labelling. Arranging deliveries to clients and dealing with post-sales customer service

    5/ Keeping clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest

    6/ Contributing to team effort by identifying high-value projects in the planning stages to target for sales and actively manage relationships with principals of A&D firms in Denmark and abroad. identify prospective clients and work with existing accounts to generate new creative ideas/projects, develop proposals, execute orders, and ensure quality and consistency of service and product delivery.

    You have excellent customer service skills. You are energetic with a friendly approach to sales and good telephone manners. You are into interior design and sensitive to colours and fabrics. You have the ability to read floor plans and advise clients on space planning. You are computer literate.

    Relevant sales experience in furniture is preferable. A knowledge of the French language is appreciated.
