    Director of Estates | Merton | Immediate Start

    Director of Estates Salary: £45,000
    Full Time – 52 weeks - Merton

    Are you an experienced, detail-oriented Director of Estates? Are you looking for your next opportunity?
    If so, the perfect Director of Estates role for you may have just become available at a wonderful school in Merton.

    As Director of Estates, you will be playing a pivotal role in effectively managing the deployment of school resources to maintain existing facilities and support development of upcoming projects.

    Director of Estates Job Summary:
    • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children on-site by pro-actively ensuring all visitors are signed in and issued with the appropriate coloured lanyard.
    • Strategic oversight of all aspects of the school operating and maintenance structures and procedures – maintaining all properties on the estate.
    • Managing the schools' estates budget for procurement of necessary equipment and furnishings.
    • Oversight of schools' health and safety within the school.
    • Liaise with Headteacher and SLT to deliver projects related to the estate, and be involved in all areas of these projects, from planning up to implementation.
    • Managing the IT delivery across the school, including IT network, communication systems and CCTV.
    Director of Estates Requirements:
    • IOSH or NEBOSH.
    • Project Management Qualification.
    • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
    • Experience in a similar role, providing support to a range of colleagues.
    • Competent with relevant site planning software programs.
    • Understanding of relevant policies and legislation and their real-life application.
