    Description
    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance executive to join our client's team in Milton Keynes.

    This role encompasses several key responsibilities during the maternity cover period:

    Act as the project sponsor for a significant finance system upgrade, including core accounting, AP automation, and financial planning and analysis tools.

    Identify, evaluate, and implement substantial operating model efficiency improvements across Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.

    Collaborate with the Board, CEO, and Directors to provide strategic financial and commercial insight, driving the ongoing organizational-wide transformation program.

    Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to enhance the holistic performance of the organisation.
    Support SLT decisions with sound financial analysis and commercial insights.
    Oversee financial, legal, and risk & compliance-related activities, working closely with the CEO on governance matters.
    Lead the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee of the Board.
    Provide direction to functional groups (finance, legal & governance, risk & compliance).
    Handle serious incident reporting to regulatory bodies.
    Collaborate with international senior finance colleagues.
    Manage multi-year and annual budgets, scenario planning, and financial reviews.

    The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience with a demonstrable track record as a strategic finance leader within a medium-sized global organisation.
