    Role Summary:

    We are looking for an Engineering Manager to provide engineering leadership across multiple squads by proactively identifying product-specific skills and engineering processes that the team requires to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of technical delivery. Advocate people-centric product engineering efficiency by anticipating talent requirements, onboarding needs, operational effectiveness, upskilling, and career aspirations of the team.

    Role Responsibilities:

  • To understand product-specific technology and architectural landscape and baseline required talent and training requirements.
  • Based on product roadmaps, proactively estimate and plan for required capacity and skills through upskilling, hiring, and resource rotations strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and assessment during the interviewing of potential new candidates for the team.
  • To understand the training needs of the developers and collaborate with the Solution Architect, Delivery Manager, and Product Manager to craft an effective onboarding plan to successfully impart required functional, technical, and operational knowledge and provide exceptional onboarding experience to newly hired developers.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to full-stack engineers to deliver quality solutions.
  • Review work produced by full-stack engineers and guide them for technical accuracy.
  • Lead R&D projects that are aimed at producing enhanced designs, products, and processes.
  • Continuous performance evaluation of full stack engineers to help them improve sprint-on-sprint. Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to developers.
  • Must ensure developers follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across the product development life cycle
  • Guide developers through the development, testing, and implementation stages, and review the completed work effectively, and take ownership of quality output.
  • Focus on continuous capability building and plan developers' bandwidth for upskilling and cross-skilling.

  • Excellent understanding of software engineering patterns and practices, an affinity for quality unit testing with complete code coverage
  • Modern web and mobile application development
  • Strong ability to create and develop teams of engineering excellence
  • Expert-level knowledge of leading full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Excellent Agile product development skills with a production-first mindset and DevOps
  • Dynamic leadership skills to mentor team towards a growth mindset and continuous efficiency improvement
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering KPI & Metrics
  • C, .NET, Web API, React JS, HTML , CSS , Bootstrap +
  • Experience in Developing Microservices, Web API, and API Integration with third parties
  • AWS cloud native development using EC, Lambda, S, Simple Queue Service-SQS, SNS etc.,
  • Database technologies preferably PostgreSQL
  • Agile product management tools like Jira, Confluence
  • DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Sonar Cube, Team City, Grafana, Kibana

    • Who you are:

  • Passion for providing technical leadership to software developers.
  • Certification in technical architecture and design, SAFE, and DevOps will be an added advantage.
