    Interim IFRS Consultant

    The Business:

    Finatal are working with an IT Managed Services business backed by leading private equity investors. They specialize in delivering innovative solutions to clients across various industries, empowering businesses to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Their commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technology sets them apart in the market, driving their continuous growth and success. They need an IFRS consultant to support them with their imminent IFRS conversion.

    The Role:

    • Lead the implementation of IFRS standards and provide technical expertise on complex accounting issues.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS requirements and regulatory guidelines.
    • Analyse financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
    • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline processes, optimize reporting systems, and enhance financial controls.
    • Stay abreast of changes in IFRS regulations and industry best practices, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management.

    Requirements:

    • ACA, ACCA, CPA qualifications are preferred.
    • Proven experience in IFRS implementation and financial reporting.
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS standards, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15), leases (IFRS 16), and financial instruments (IFRS 9).
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
