    Description

    Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking to take the next step in your career? Or an experienced Lead Science Teacher looking for a new challenge? Flourish Education are recruiting a temp to perm secondary Lead Science Teacher to begin their role in September.
    This "good" rated alternative provision school is looking for a Lead science Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4

    Responsibilities for the Lead Science Teacher role

    ? Deliver Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
    ? Full planning, marking and assessment required.
    ? Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
    ? Line manage/support one other Science teacher
    ? Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
    ? Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.

    Required skills and experience for the Lead Science Teacher role

    ? Experience in teaching Science to KS3 and KS4
    ? Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS
    ? Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
    ? Strong behaviour management skills
    ? Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
    ? Previous Science Teacher experience.
    ? Previous experience working in a PRU/Alt Provision school is desirable, but not essential.

    ? Competitive salary- UPS Day rate of £221.87 to £238.58 which equates to £43,264.55 to £46,523.10 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
