    Description
    Playground Games is looking for an Experienced Level Designer to join our Forza Horizon team on a permanent basis.

    As a premier first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and most of all fun.

    We are looking to expand our diverse team as we continue driving forward our BAFTA award-winning Forza Horizon franchise.

    As a key member of the Forza Horizon Level Design team, you'll take responsibility for building large sections of our game worlds, creating genre-leading event designs, and implementing key gameplay features.

    In this role, you will inspire and develop junior members forward through mentorship and knowledge sharing. You will drive best practice, effectively collaborating with our world class technical and creative teams.
    You will consistently push for quality, quickly and positively react to change, and be an excellent, approachable communicator.
    This role is based in our state-of-the-art studio in Leamington Spa, with a hybrid work model in place. Relocation assistance is available if required.
    Create, own, and maintain multiple areas of our game world
    Mentor and support junior team members
    At least one shipped AAA title in a Level Design role
    Experience with multiple software packages such as 3DS Max, Mudbox and Photoshop (or equivalents)
    Ability to create a whitebox environment and develop it through to shippable quality
    Ideally, experience in building AAA open world environments
    Ability to mentor and train junior members of staff
    A genuine passion for games
