    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Specialist Tour Operator, Hargreaves & Nurse Holidays (Just Sardinia, Just Sicily and Just Corsica), working in our busy Admin & Operations department.

    We are based in Ferndown in Dorset who pride ourselves in providing tailor made holidays together with a quality service to our valued clients.

    This role will suit someone who has a passion customer service and can work under pressure as part of a flexible and professional team. Travel experience is not essential as we can teach you everything you need to know.

    Job Responsibilities

    Working as part of a team in the Admin Department you will be supporting Sales & Operations and dealing with post booking customer service. You will be:

    • Checking accuracy and administering client and travel agent holiday confirmation invoices, flight details and documentation using our in-house reservations and TravelPal App systems
    • Handling booking queries and taking payments by liaising with travel agents and direct clients.
    • Chasing clients for holiday details and carrying out booking updates, amendments and cancellations.
    • Managing pre-departure information
    • Liaising with and sending resorts accommodation rooming lists, rep reports and transfer lists.
    • Loading data from hotel contracts
    • Undertaking general admin duties including answering the phone, emails and online chat.
    • Answering reservations over-flow calls/enquiries.
    • Providing excellent customer service throughout.

    Skills & Experience required

    • Previous experience in a customer service role with the ability to demonstrate you can provide outstanding customer service.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
    • Be able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
    • Be flexible and self-motivated to learn, use your initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities.
    • Have great communication skills - both verbal and written, with an excellent telephone manner.
    • Essential to have excellent numeracy and IT/Computer skills including a good command/experience using of MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • A working knowledge of the travel industry would be desirable, however training will be provided.

    How we work

    • The hours of work are Monday – Friday9 – 5.30 (Saturday cover on rotation, with a day off in the week will be required between January and July)
    • The role is office based until you are fully trained, after which we offer one day a week remote working.
    • We are a dog friendly office, and the office dog is in most days.
    • You will have the opportunity to attend educational trips to Sardinia, Sicily and Corsica.
    • 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days with each complete year of service.
    • Team social events and staff discounts on travel.
    • Once you have successfully completed your probationary period you will also become eligible to have your birthday day off.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: £23,000 per year
