- Manage the design development of projects in collaboration with the project manager, client, and architectural consultant.
- Monitor design costs on projects versus budget allowances.
- Provide design advice on building regulations, fire protection, etc.
- Ensure the design team produces accurate, efficient drawings according to programme.
- Chair design meetings and proactively address design issues.
- Maintain records, manage flow of information, and provide regular progress reports.
- Extensive experience in architectural design and/or construction projects, including progressing projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards for design and build contracts.
- Knowledge of BIM processes.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Ability to plan, stay one step ahead, and be self-motivated and adaptable.
- Experience working to tight programmes and delivering results within deadlines.
