    What's the role about?

    Finance Systems Accountant Permanent, Full-Time Salary: Working: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Location: Remote - UK or Mainland Europe (UK Timezone) This is an important role within the ASL finance team, reporting to the Finance Systems Manager. It focuses on supporting the users of the group finance systems (listed above) and continuing the roll out of Group ERP (D365) and Group reporting tool (SAC) to our subsidiaries. Key responsibilities are to manage the finance systems, assist finance during month-end and other key reporting cycles, maintain key controls, roll out finance systems to our subsidiaries and continue to make process improvements. Main responsibilities
    • Resolving tickets logged in finance systems helpdesk - Routine admin activities include - set up of dimensions, resolve import issues, report design, creation of main accounts, creating of project categories, user set up etc. In D365, SAC, BPC and Blackline. Occasionally, the same will apply for Medius (P2P system) and Chrome River (Staff Expenses system)
    • Creating and maintaining D365 Financial Reports, as well as covering the maintenance and troubleshooting for D365 Electronic Reporting
    • Support the finance team in ensuring the consolidation system (BPC) is up to date with the required information. This includes setting up customers, entities, report design, monitoring consolidation and issue resolution, as well as ensuring the flow of data between SAP BPC and SAP SAC (reporting tool) is working correctly
    • Take on primary admin responsibility for Blackline (reconciliation tool) and ensure that it is working effectively
    • Covering the Blackline quarterly audit and maintaining relevant controls
    • Maintaining, monitoring and running regular updates for the SAC reporting portfolio and working with all stakeholders in order to identify and implement improvements
    • Look to further automate the link between D365 and SAC to ensure the management team have up to date information
    • Roll out of our finance systems to our subsidiaries as per agreed implementation plan. This includes scoping, configuration, training, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), migration, go live support, leading steering committees, and managing the stakeholders both in the subsidiaries and the group team
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience
    • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
    • Full life cycle implementations of D365 or similar ERP
    • Experience to create and maintain robust internal controls within centralised finance operations
    • Passion for automation and building efficient processes
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and focus on meeting deadlines
    • Control oriented mindset
    Preferable
    • Dynamics 365 finance experience
    • SAP BPC or similar reporting tool experience
    • SAP SAC or similar reporting tool experience
