    Description

    We are recruiting for a Project Manager, on a contract basis, to support the UK&I Integration Manager in driving the execution of entity rationalisation and other integration projects as required. This individual will act as a primary contact for key operational stakeholders in the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring they achieve the core objectives and timescales.

    Overview of duties

    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop the entity rationalisation strategy and programme plan
    • Co-ordinate in-house functional teams and third-party professional services firms (consultancy and legal) in the delivery of specific workstreams of the programme
    • Support the UK&I integration lead in establishing appropriate governance and assurance controls to facilitate decision-making, manage strategic risks and ensure business readiness for change
    • Identify and escalate cross-functional risks, issues, and decisions that arise, facilitating their mitigation and resolution with the programme team and business stakeholders
    • Identify, track and manage critical interdependencies across various workstreams including finance, tax, regulatory, operations and restructuring
    • Chair project delivery groups and report progress to the relevant Steering Committee and Integration Management Office
    • Solicit inputs from operational stakeholders to facilitate change management of the programme and retain pace of change alongside all other change efforts
    • Codify the entity rationalisation process by documenting process and building out templates and tools to make it repeatable for subsequent acquisitions
    • Act as a trusted partner to the UK&I Integration Lead and IMO colleagues, supporting as a collaborator in identifying innovative ways to move the programme forward

    Person specification

    Knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Deep knowledge of change management with exposure and understanding of business operating model re-engineering, including business and process analysis
    • Credible and solution-oriented professional with advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with complex problems
    • A keen ability to execute and deliver results and act with a sense of urgency
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage time well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Ability to collaborate and quickly build effective working relationships

    Education / and or Experience

    • 3+ years of project management experience, with direct accountability for delivery of business transformation programmes
    • Hands-on experience of managing complex change programmes in dynamic environments
    • Experience in insurance operations and/or benefits operations
    • Experience in managing third-party vendors and teams

    PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for applicants with direct experience within Business Change project Management, not IT Project Management.

    Key information:

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours

    Work Type: 12 Month Contract

    Location: Bromsgrove / Birmingham Hybrid
