    Boarding Experience Manager

    Salary offered: £27,144 - £29,796 FTE

    Leighton Park is looking to appoint a Boarding Experience Manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work alongside our boarding House Teams. This role is pivotal to the success of the boarding experience at Leighton Park.

    This is a non-teaching role that would suit applicants with transferable skills from customer facing industries such as hospitality and retail.

    As a Boarding Experience Manager, your warm and empathetic personality, tactful manner, and good listening skills will be essential to build harmonious relationships with all students, staff and parents. Your 'can do' attitude will take our House provision beyond outstanding. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount with this role, as is a genuine understanding of the needs of teenagers.

    You will have the necessary skills to market the house, working closely with the Admissions Department on recruitment and retention of Boarding Students. The successful candidate will provide appropriate administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the House, including the effective management of arrivals and departures of students. You will create a clean, safe, homely feel for the students and manage the deployment of the domestic staff in their Houses effectively.

    The Boarding Experience Manager will need to hold an up to date first aid qualification. Training will be given in child protection, safeguarding, dispensing medicines and on our boarding software, REACH.

    Accommodation may be available for someone willing to take on additional responsibilities in the House.
