    People Operations Specialist
    We're Osome - an international fintech startup making the lives of entrepreneurs easier.

    What you'll do:

    Partnering with Managers to ensure onboarding of the Newcomers over their first 90 days lives up to Osome expectations, sets them up for success and for passing their probation.

    Support employee performance management, tracking progression, training, and making sure every Osomer is fulfilled and able to do the best work of their careers.

    Manage end to end people admin duties such as contracts for new hires, letters, reference checks, etc, across the markets (SG, UK, HK) for our colleagues in the Philippines.

    Responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle HR operations such as onboarding, employment changes, and off-boarding processes.
    Support the development of Osome's policies and compliance, ensuring clarity and acceptance within the team as these develop.
    Manage day-to-day general employee queries and issues including pay, performance, policies, and procedures.
    Provide support to Managers on any employee-related issues. Leads basic performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance meetings offering pragmatic solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.

    Work with People Partners (UK and HK) and People Operations (MY and SG) to support the colleagues in the Philippines that fall under their verticals.

    Own the maintenance of data & employee changes in HiBob (HRIS) and look at ways to continuously improve processes.

    Payroll and Leave Management and responsible for accuracy and on-time in-house payroll processing of the Philippines office.
    Responsible for any regulatory report filings to local government authorities.

    Manage all IT assets for our Philippines headcount, which includes purchasing laptops and all necessary items for new joiners, coordinate laptop delivery, manage return of laptops from off boarding colleagues and store any access laptops.

    Work with the IT department in resetting laptops to ensure they are ready for use.


    Who you are:
    At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar standalone People Specialist / HR Admin role.
    Passionate about People and Talent.
    Have excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders.
    Enjoys collaborating with the team, able to cover for the team when they are out of the office.
    Appreciation and understanding of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with any people-related activities.
    Seeks new ways of improving people processes and outcomes. Always contributes to process improvements.
    Confident leading onboarding for new hires and ensuring the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
    Has a good understanding of Filipino employment laws and regulations.
    Demonstrated success in embodying and promoting a company's brand.
    Comfortable using Google software and tools.
    Experience in using HRIS / HRMS, HiBob, would be a huge plus.
