We are very excited to be recruiting to a Home Treatment Matron post.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated team players to provide sound leadership and management of the Home Treatment Teams and to actively participate in the day to day running of the service ensuring high quality care is delivered.
You will act as a positive role model for staff in a manner that positively reflects the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses or Registered Learning Disability Nurse who is interested and committed to delivering care within a safe, secure and therapeutic environment.Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the Matron's role is to provide leadership and support to a defined speciality or service area. This post may be rotational as required.
Contributing to the Implementation of strategic plans within the service and within designated Home Treatment Teams
Monitoring quality standards to ensure that care is delivered effectively, safely and to a high standard. To support the delivery and implementation of an monitoring process to provide the required assurance .
Demonstrating a strong focus on quality of the service user experience in the way services are designed and delivered with clear processes in place for addressing any risks or issues which are identified as impacting on this.
Developing, implementing and monitoring quality standards across the Trust by strengthening professional clinical leadership at team and service area level.
