    Salary:
    £36,312 - £42,717 (pro rata for part time and sessional)

    Situated in the south-west of Edinburgh, Braidburn School provides a supportive learning environment for learners with additional support needs aged 21⁄2 to 18 years old.

    Braidburn benefits from on-site multi-disciplinary therapy and medical teams in addition to our education staff. This helps our learners achieve their full potential.
    Braidburn Nursery is situated within Braidburn School, and supports children with complex, long term additional support needs. The needs of our children are primarily associated with learning disability and significant visual/sensory, health and medical needs. Braidburn Nursery provides education for pre-schoolchildren, aged - 5 years within a caring, safe and welcoming environment.

    We are recruiting a Senior Early Years Officer to join our Nursery team to assist with the management, co-ordination and development of our high quality, child centred service.

    This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

    Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
