Description
Would you like to be part of the team telling our Morgan Sindall Infrastructure story?Our communication team is made up of trusted creators and advisors working in partnership with the business, the communication advisor role builds part of this team and is key to supporting delivery.
With a primary focus on internal communications, you would be joining a team who are passionate, creative and empowered to create communications that reflect who we are, share our project and business area messages and create connection.
The individual would work closely with the highways and rail communications business partner, with a core focus on these two business units to support in the delivery of their communications plan and telling their story.
The role will take the individual on an adventure of opportunities and will provide the chance to support and where appropriate, lead on projects.
You will be working on internal communication campaigns and event planning - to ensure we help the organisation think and act as one.
We believe in connecting people, places and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure.You will be part of telling the story about keeping the UK connected and will be able to experience some of the most technical, largest, and advanced infrastructure projects being delivered across the UK.
The individual will work closely with the communications business partners and the wider delivery team to support with the creation and delivery of business communications and campaigns.
Responsible for delivery of project tasks that align to the communications strategy – with direction and guidance provided from communications business partners and/or head of communications.
Creating content and providing wider advisory support to the teams.Able to relay and manage meetings with key stakeholders on communication plan deliverables, when required.
Ability to lead on projects, with the support and guidance provided from the communications business partners and/or head of communications.
Support with the concept and delivery of corporate events.Previous experience in an internal communications/marketing role would be desirable.
High standard of written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to transform challenging technical content into clear, concise, and engaging copy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.Ability to work on multiple projects, to tight deadlines and to a high standard.
Experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
A basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
A good and creative understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint.
