    Description

    Role Overview:
    - We are searching for an Analyst to join our transport modelling and analysis team in TAME, aiming to become a center of excellence and an industry innovator in The North.
    - The Analyst will play a vital role in various analytical activities within the TAME portfolio, focusing on transport modelling, economic appraisal, python programming, and overall transport analytics.
    - Responsibilities include operating transport models to analyze road and rail interventions, developing business cases, strategies, policies, and technical designs.

    What We Are Looking For:
    We are looking for candidates who:
    - Have a passion for the role of transport in supporting local and regional goals
    - Demonstrate experience in building strong relationships with project teams and clients
    - Possess excellent communication and writing skills
    - Showcase strong numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking
    - Have expertise in analyzing future transport demands, with a focus on rail, highway, and demand modelling
    - Possess knowledge of transport planning best practices
    - Demonstrate experience in transport modelling, preferably with SATURN, CUBE, or VISUM
    - Hold qualifications in fields such as transport planning, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, or geography

    About You:
    - As an Analyst in TfN's TAME team, your role involves providing transport-related evidence for the North and supporting the technical aspects of the Governments Integrated Rail Plan.
    - You will be responsible for managing small sections of TAME's Analytical Framework and producing robust evidence for internal and external stakeholders.
    - This collaborative role offers training opportunities and the chance to be part of a dynamic team using innovative techniques to solve real-world challenges.

    Closing Date: 12pm, 24th May 2024

    Provisional Interview Date: 10th June 2024

    The salary indicated for this position is subject to Cost of Living Uplift.
