    Description


    Unineed is the fastest Cross-border E-commerce Platform empowered by our bespoke system Xtopus, which helps both ourselves and other sellers to sell its products globally faster through all major digital marketing channels and achieve stronger profit margins.

    We currently specialise in beauty and cosmetics, with plans to further diversify in the future. We target the US, UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Currently, we ship to over 150 other countries from our fulfilment centers in Glasgow & China, and Texas.
    Unineed is run by a group of young entrepreneurs.

    Our company is fast growing on the international market often achieving significant year-on-year revenue growth .We aim to become the industrial leader for cross-border ecommerce in the next 10 years and become a global leader in the next 20 years to help brands, retailers and manufacturers expanding on the oversea market through digital channels.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our Buying Department and grow with our company. Buying experience is preferred but not essential as we can provide training for the right candidate.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage offers and orders for existing suppliers
    • Develop suppliers for new ranges of products, brands and categories to drive growth
    • Product research for different marketplaces and develop product ranges for the specific marketplace
    • Complete regular competitor analysis to ensure our product range and prices are competitive
    • Budgeting for buying
    • Purchasing of office and logistics supplies
    • Negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs, whilst building strong relationships
    • Contacting suppliers for product availability and lead times
    • Identifying savings and business improvement opportunities
    • Relentlessly driving purchase cost down
    • Assisting with the accuracy of stock levels
    • Forecasting, allocation and stock replenishment to maximise sales and conversion
    • Negotiation of exclusive offers
    • Liaise with third party logistic companies and dealing with import and export documents
    • Following up on shipments
    • Making sure all products purchased are correctly uploaded on the website
    • Liaise with the marketing team to make sure all products are planned in the promotions
    • Work closely with the marketing team to understand the market trends, sourcing new brands and products based on these findings
    • Analyse performance by product type and marketing channel, highlighting any gaps and opportunities
