    An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Band 7 registered nurse to join the progressive Occupational Health and Wellbeing team onsite in the CUH oh and wellbeing building on a secondment opportunity/ maternity leave cover basis.

    Every aspect of Occupational Health delivered through our service aims to provide the highest quality of care for CUH staff, other NHS organisations and external companies that the wider oh multi-disciplinary team support.

    CUH invests in its workforce's health & wellbeing , through occupational health service such as pre-employment staff screening, flu and covid vaccination, risk assessment, as well as mental health and wellbeing support.

    This job role is suited for an experienced registered nurse leader who has a keen interest in Occupational Health, or is seeking to learn new skills, to join an established and SEQOHS accredited OH team.

    You will have a positive attitude towards the health and wellbeing of those attending, or contacting Occupational Health for support and advice.

    You will be confident working both autonomously and as part of the wider team and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaising with staff, managers, other departments across RPH, CUH and other stakeholders on the biomedical campus.

    Working within a team of Occupational Health professionals providing a high quality needs based Occupational Health service to all contracted clients NHS and non NHS.

    Main duties of the job The role is predominantly based in the CUH oh & wellbeing building on the biomedical campus, and you may be required on occasion to work offsite so independent mobility throughout East Anglia is desirable.

    To support the work of the Occupational Health Service by providing clinical, professional and managerial leadership for the team of registered nurses.

    The post holder will lead on management referrals and provision of support/supervision/guidance to the OH team on this.

    The role will provide a professional, timely and efficient service to managers and staff using the OH service.

    The post holder will be part of a well-established Occupational Health service.

    S/he may be required to work at other sites, with sufficient notice and will be responsible for the day to day running of the service from a management referral perspective.

    • Registered Nurse (on part 1 or 2 of the NMC register)
    • Degree
    • Post registration Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Health or related service e.g. respiratory medicine, infection control or public health
    • Evidence of continuous professional development

    • Master's Degree

    Experience Essential
    • Occupational Health (OH) experience or experience in a related service e.g. respiratory medicine, infection control or public health
    • Management referral caseload
    • Proven delivery of evidence based clinical practice within OH or a related service.
    • Experience of outbreak management and testing programmes
    • Experience of Line/Team managing across different locations.
    • Coaching/training teams.
    • Accept personal accountability for own practice.
    • Experience of formal/informal teaching

    • Experience in leading or supporting service delivery
